Craig's Big Trout Series Spinners were made for the angler who likes to target big fish in smaller water. Utilizing the same body as our Trout Spinner Series but with a step up in blade and hook size. Big enough to get noticed by large fish but light enough to glide through skinny water.
We Recommend the Following Color Choices based on Water Conditions
- Polished Brass = Clear Water
- Nickle = Slightly Stained Water
- White = Dark or Brown Water
If you are fishing for stocked fish that are pressured, Pink, Chartreuse and Black are great choices to present something different and make them strike.
|#3 Indiana Blade||Indiana Blades offer almost no resistance when reeling due to the smooth edges. If you like a little more resistance when reeling in a spinner, consider a French Style Blade instead.|
|Solid Brass Beads||Solid Brass Beads make a spinner that is heavy for it's size so that your spinner can get deep where the fish are.|
|#8 VMC Round Treble Hook||Super Sharp Bronze Hooks disappear in the water allowing the fish to see the strike bead and strike! These hooks also have a little bit of flex to them so that if you snag a rock, a little smooth force will allow the hook to flex and slip off. No worries though, no freshwater fish is strong enough to flex these hooks.|
|#1 Stirrup Clevis in Brass Finish||Silky Smooth High Quality Spinning Clevis in Brass Finish to blend in with the body.|
|.026 Stainless Steel Wire||Compare our build quality with any retail spinner at the big box stores, few use stainless steel wire which do not easily bend or corrode.|
|Strike Bead Type|
|Pearlescent Strike Bead||A strike bead above the hook gives a fish a focal point to strike, increasing hook-sets.|
